Journey Through Hollowed Ground NHC A New Area for me to Explore....

I was able to make my first 4 stops at this area-  I had planned for many more, but we had to make several trip changes. I'll be re-exploring this area soon, promise- so much to see and do.

I got stamps at two locations:  3 stops at the Manassas NBPark, the Henry Hill VC, the Stone House, and Brawner Farm, and also at the Prince William Visitor Center in downtown Occoquan VA.

Brawner Farm VC

Main VC Henry Hill for Manassas

The Old Stone House

Prince William VC  Occoquan VA.

July 28th Revisit to Independence National Historic Park Philadelphia Pennsylvania

Did a revisit here with Cooper and Tracy-  Only new stamp I got was the Old City Hall one, we actually visited 3 stamping locations-  Perfect weather for visiting-  we drove in from Jersey.

July 30th Revisit to Hampton NHS Baltimore Maryland

Cooper and I decided to add this revisit after failing to get off I-95 due to bad GPS directions, so it counts. The site was actually closed, but the stamps were in the bathroom!  They are also building a new visitor center, which should be open by now.

The odd part about this site is I used to live in Baltimore, and never visited the site.  It is beautiful

July 30 Revisit Fort Mc Henry National Monument and Historic Shrine- Baltimore Maryland

Cooper and I dropped in to revisit this location-  Got the site stamp for here:

July 3rd Delaware and Lehigh NHC- The Canal Museum and HQ Easton Pa.

Got here on a combined visit to Allentown and Easton-  There was formerly a stamp for this NHC and the Crayola Factory, but it has been removed.

Got a pin for here also.

July 30 Revisit- Chesapeake Bay Gateways Network @ Fort McHenry VC Baltimore Maryland

I had been here in 2012-  so this was a revisit.

July 30/31 Baltimore NHA visits Baltimore Maryland

This was a revisit to 2 locations for this NHA, Fort McHenry Visitor Center, and a new stop for me, the Baltimore Visitor Center on Light Street near the Inner Harbor.

The Fort Mc Henry location was a treat for Cooper and I, as we got to see a firing demonstration along with a tour of the fort.

This was a first visit for us to the Baltimore Visitor Center-  we had to hunt for parking-  wound up parking at a meter a fair distance away.
